Anyone have experience of renting out ground for 1 year. Did you get paid before or half at 1rst and the other at the end of the year?
    Did you have any trouble?
    Was land taken care of?
Would you do a contract for the one year?

I take it you have land to rent?

Usually half at start and half at end
Some lads will mind it well and some lads dog it to the last, the highest bidder mightn't be the best man for it, if I were renting land I'd let it to a lad that would respect it to some degree for an agreeable price and if worked out after one year maybe work on long term lease?

Look into it if letting next year, get advice off teagasc or some advisor because 2015 is a reference year for entitlements, so you could loose the number of entitlements that you lease if you lease. You wont loose payments because this year is a reference year for the payment. Payment will be spread over the remaining entitlements you have left..

Hope that dosent confuse you, but id advise you to get advice off teagasc
