Teeth Whitening and composite filling material

Hello I am not sure if I have the correct term and am telling you the correct thing here.

A couple of years ago a dentist covered my two front teeth a little as there was a little 'cupping' on the front or a small indentation from erosion. I am not sure what material was used. It might have been composite filling or bonding.

But he never whitened my teeth before which I am not told is recommended ..I was very unhappy with the appearance of them as the material was bubbleish and he filled it down...but the colour was too yellowish for me. Now a few years on the rest of my teeth are also stained now and I want to get them whitened.

I don't know how to deal with the two front upper teeth which are the most important in a smile to me. I never smile at all now.

I don't feel my dentist is very cosmetically or aesthetically aware or cares much about that.

I really want an acceptable smile. I don't even like looking at them in the mirror.

How can I deal with this?

Having the front 'covers' was painful and it took a lot to get the appearance that was acceptable to me and I like the shape just not the color.

And the rest of my teeth are pretty yellowish it is really affected my self esteem.

    Can anyone help me?

If the filling on the teeth are small, the simplest thing to do is bleach all your teeth and then have them replaced to the new whiter colour.
