Hi, I am travelling to America in 2 weeks time. I don't own a credit card, and I don't want to use my visa debit while I am there. However I don't want to carry a large amount of cash either. I have looked into the currency card in the post office, it seems too good to be true. Could anyone give me their experience of using one and how they got on with it?
    Please and thanks.

One poster replied here so perhaps you could pop them a message and see how they got on?!

    Hope that helps,

    Hey Dubfan,

Did you go with the currency card in the end? How did it work out?

Hi, it worked out great, no problems at all and we could check the balance on our phones through wifi. When we came back we just went to the post office and they transferred whatever was left on the card back to my account!
