    I recently bought shoes from ismodo the money has been taken but I noticed they hadn't been dispatched I went to go into the site and it says it is temporarily closed for maintenance I have emailed them but have got no reply I wrote to them on Facebook but was told I can no longer write to them via Facebook..anyone know what is going on or how I could get my €40 refunded?

    If you paid with Credit card, phone your Credit Card Provider and they'll sort you out.
    If you paid with Paypal, get on to their support and they'll sort you out.
    If you paid with a Debit Card, AFAIK you have very little options.

    Visa Debit is still a Visa - ring your bank and ask about a chargeback

    If you paid with a Debit Card, AFAIK you have very little options.

    Not quite:

    The old Laser scheme had little protection in place.

    Visa Debit and Debit MasterCard have protections similar (but not identical) to their credit card siblings.
