    Pay to fly in a 146?! ;)

    Found this on Cello's website:

    http://www.flycello.com/news.php#champagne%202014

    G-RAJJ has 46 seats.

No indication of pricing, Airliner Experience doesn't seem to have their own website! Will drop a line to the listed e-mail address.

It's not just any 146, its their Corporate Jet version in full VIP configuration that the Queen used on her State visit to Ireland in 2011. Man U & Man City have used it along with Coldplay, Tom Jones and many others.

Airliner Experience are on facebook (you dont need a fb page to read their page). G-RAJJ looks like a really special aircraft with a stunning interior with only 46 Business Class seats.

The flight involves not only the VIP aircraft experience but also spotting in Birmingham and a full exterior & interior inspection of the aircraft on the live ramp at BHX Airport before the flight back to Dublin. Prices seem very reasonable for what they are offering !

I don't see any mention of prices anywhere on their Facebook page.

There is a price structure which depends on the numbers joining the flight.

From 110 euro and the Ryanair flight was on 10 euro and for all that is available, flight,
VIP experience, VIP departure at BHX & VIP arrival at DUB, Inspection of the aircraft on live ramp, Q&A's with pilots and crew, Visit to cockpit & Spotting at Birmingham's morning rush,
and of course arriving into Dublin on a Corporate Jet !

If you email to the address on their facebook page you will receive their prices & details

    That's great value in fairness

    What price exactly?

The price depends on the numbers joining the flight but from 110 Euro.
If you email them (email available on the Airliner Experience facebook page) they will give you the prices and further details.

They are currently taking deposits, mine is paid !

Email them, or email you? Seems a bit a shamless plug in my opinion.

I heard that the last one organised didn't do so well numbers wise

I read the magazine articles in Airliner World Magazine & Flying In Ireland Magazine for the last enthusiasts flight and it sounded really good. Numbers may have been down a bit but it still went ahead.

I've paid my deposite for this one and the more that come on the flight the lower the price is for all, so thats why I'm asking if anyone else is going on it, no other reason pal.

I emailed this crowd before to ask about bringing a group along on one of their tours.
    Never heard a word back....

Still I have seen some of the photos on their FB page and recognise some faces so they must be doing something.

Are they a registered business ?
I reckon I will wait for at least a website/address before parting with any cash.

    Can't find any registration for them on cro.ie so I don't think they're a company. Also :

Payment will be by bank transfer or internet banking or cheque 7 days prior to the event.

suggests it's a group. Might be a charity, but hard to check in Ireland ( in NI we have a compulsory registry for charities ).

Personally I'd recommend they pay a few Euros to register a domain and set-up a non-Hotmail e-mail address, and publish some contact details other than 'Raheny, Dublin'. It would reassure a lot of folks.

Hopefully they do get a bit more official and I'd part with some silver.
It is a Fantastic idea and the best of luck to them, worth looking at their facebook page.

Seen this 146 on the ramp today.

What an experience on the Corporate 146 Cello Aviation today from Birmingham to Dublin.

The group of enthusiasts from both Ireland & the UK had a great time with ramp inspection of the 1988 classic
aircraft, cockpit visits and the plush interior cabin was just amazing with champagne and finger food on board - a real one off chance.

Thanks to Cello Aviation and Airliner Experience for organising this thrilling event - Super Day !
