Affordable paint repair for my old car

    guys,

My 02 corolla has quite a few scratches and some dents here and there. I was thinking of bringing back some shine on it. So, i went down to a paint repair shop by togher. he quoted me 250 EUR and did not assure me it would be shiny again. I am not a DIY guy so that option is out of question. Anyone know an affordable ( i mean around or less than 100 EUR) paint repair guy in Cork. I checked carpaintrepair.ie. Anyone used them before?

    Any other suggestions?

Maybe dents can be pulled out and the car given a wax and buff?
Without pics it's impossible to guess.

It really depends what you mean by "bring back some shine". But 100 isn't going to get you far if you don't want to do any DIY. Such work is inherently expensive, (presuming you mean fixing scratches/dents), if you're not willing to wash, polish and wax it at the very least you're not going to get very far.

A few pictures of the car would help us understand.

Here are the pics i managed to take yesterday. Also, i checked with Provalet down in mahon point. they advertised that they do scratch removal. But, they took a look at my car and said, nah! sorry, we only do minor scratches.

That should be doable for any shop.

But try with filler pen and wax on one of the scratches and see if you can manage yourself.

A body shop is required to fix those kind of scratches properly.
