I'm repeating in Rathmines College after doing my original Leaving Cert in 2012. I'm not repeating English at the moment because I got a C1 at honours so I already have the grade but we had a talk from one of the guidance councillors and he mentioned something but the way he worded it made it sound as though a grade older than 1 year is not valid.

Can I present my C1 from 2012 on the CAO or do I have to pick up English again?

You can use your English result from 2012 to satisfy entry requirements. The points requirements must be met in a single sitting of the Leaving Cert though.
