hisense tv jammed on the same channel

    i have an old 19 inch LCD tv that is jammed on the same channel. any sugestions:confused:

    I guess the most obvious is to power it off completely at the wall socket for a while, which I assume you've done.

    After that if no change can you access the main menu to do a factory reset/restore.

    yap. tried that. cannot access anything. sound ,menu, on/off, channel up/down with remote or on the tv controls

    Do a search on Google for "hisense tv locked up" and you will see couple of answers including
    "ALL YOU DO IS HOLD THE MENU BUTTON UNPLUG THE TV AND PLUG IT BACK WHILE STILL HOLDING THE MENU BUTTON GO TO GENERAL SETTINGS AND TURN ON RESET MENU ON FROM THIER AUTO SEARCH YOUR CHANELS NOW U CAN HEAR THE TV BUT BLACK SCREEN NOW UNPLUG YOUR TV FOR A FEW MINUTES PLUG IT IN AND YOUR TV SHOULD BE BACK ON THIS IS THE 3RD TIME IT HAS HAPPEND TO ME IT WORKS"
