The Laser versus Electrolysis debate?

Hi been receiving laser hair removal with Therapie for some time. Generally quite pleased but have noticed a lot of the hair returning albeit in fluffy, velus form. Will more treatments resolve this? or is this as good as it get's?.

And in what way is electrolysis allegedly better? problem is that electrolysis seems to be very hard to find and I don't drive.

    Thanks for advice

    Sarah :) x

has been around for almost 140 years and is scientifically proven to remove permanently of any colour on any skin type. However it is skill dependent. Laser Hair Removal has been available for almost 20 years and its' FDA clearance is permanent hair reduction. Although not guaranteed it is successful in many cases, especially for thick dark hair on fair skin. It seems to work best on bikini lines, underarms and lower legs. In other areas it has been known to stimulate new growth, particularly on the upper arms and the face. Sometimes it results in finer hairs like you are experiencing and once the hairs are fine they are unable to absorb enough of the laser energy and further treatments don't seem to achieve a better result.

As it happens both Galway and Limerick have great Electrolysis clinics. The Catherine Hayes Clinic in Galway and Eden Electrolysis in Limerick are both excellent. It can take many months(sometimes years) for all the hair to re emerge after laser treatments. Hairfacts.com is a great place for this type of information.
