Disability Allowance and moving in with my boyfriend

I have had the worst few weeks of my life. I come from two very abusive parents, my mother has borderline personality disorder and narcissistic disorder.
She got to the point that she threatened to leave me in England when I was on holiday with her. She was very close to being physical but due to us staying with her best friend and my partner being there she held back. She has told me for years that I will amount to nothing and that I shouldn't date because I am worthless etc.
I am finally moving out, however I am unsure how to do this. She has told me so many lies that I just don't know what is true. I will be moving from Cork to Waterford.

I have disability allowance due to depression. I have a medical card because I am on so much mediation for depression, asthma and issues with my back.

My partner is on Job seekers allowance at the mo due to seasonal work. He has two months off each year. He will be going back start of October. When he is at work he earns Gross €410 and Net €362.91
    I get €188 with disability.

How will this affect me? I was told by my mother that I would lose my allowance.

I have never dealt with the issues before but finally I am seeing them. I was seeing a psychiatrist but I could hardly tell him much because she told me never ever to talk about anything in the family. I want to finally deal with this, to finally get past what she has done to me for so long.
I want to go to college, she told me I was stupid and I would fail.

Citizens information website and look up disability allowance. ..read the part about spouse/civil partner/co habitants work. My mother is very much like yours, it sucks, but just remember you are not worthless, and you can do anything you set your mind to......best wishes on starting fresh :)
