Standard Corolla tire size?

Just wondering lads does Anybody know the standed tire size for a 98 corolla G6 or even any size that would fit no bother...get the car with a set of streched 185/55 tires on it and they rub on the body a small bit..

E11 Corollas ('97-'01) had different wheel/tyre sizes - specs dependant.

Paddy spec had 165/70 R14 tyres.

Higher specs had 175/65 R14 tyres, except the ones with optional 15" alloys (195/55 R15 tyres).

G6 had 185/65 R14 tyres on alloys.

G6R had 195/55 R15 tyres on TTE alloys.

My g6 had the original 14's like the pic below, which were a 175/65 tyre size, as were the black steel rims fitted to Corolla's from 99-02, the older 97-98 cars fitted with silver rims came fitted with the 165/70 R14 tyres.

If only they didn't have a habit of corroding, mine were a mess from uk road salt.
