Rent a Wattbike options

Its a long shot I know, but would anyone happen to have one that they are temporarily not using and open to renting it out for a few months. It's for a quadriceps rehab for a young cyclist who had a bit of bad luck and as the winter draws in it may be a safer option than risking further damage out on the road as he works to balance his legs. His Quad needs to be back inshape before a final procedure can take place hopefully in December. Like I said I know it's a long shot but if you don't ask you don't get.

If it is just left/right balance you can increase your chances of getting what you want from rotor or garmin vector power meters. I don't know if they have the equivalent of the polar display on the wattbike which could prove useful in this situation.
Out of interest was it the repair of a femur fracture that did the damage.

He already has a crank based powermeter so not going to be changing and the budget will not stretch that far either. Fractured patella unfortunately.

the very best approach might be to speak with the surgeon and physios and follow a programme that they devise.. they are the experts and have probably dealt with the type of injury and rehab dozens if not hundreds of times.
