Can someone identify this video game

    I played it a lot back in 2001 on the pc it was like wipeout with lots of vehicles which included a space age truck and another that looked like an arwing you could pick up missiles and machine guns etc I think it was from the mid nineties as I remember playing it back in the late 90s

    Yep +1 for hi octane. I remember pulling a sickie from school and playing it and, well i'd have had a better time just going into school.

    You can get it from gog for cheap if you want to revisit it. I suggest sticking with wipeout or roll cage.

    There was also P.O.D. which was a similar type of thing.

    It's only game I recall making a big deal about MMX technology.

    POD was the first game to use 3D accelerator cards and MMX technology so was a big deal at the time. The only other program I know of that used MMX was the Neo Geo X emulator.
