Why aren't 'faith healers' working in hospitals or for the HSE?

IF you believe in faith healers, wouldn't you be canvassing your local TD to get them employed? Or do you think you might be considered a bit of a loon?

I'm sure they do canvas their local TDs. You just don't hear about it.
