Hi, folks. Looking for a good value laptop for the budget mentioned. Would like it to last for a few years before it's out of date. Maybe 600 is too much? The biggest problem I'm having is finding out if screens are matte; most online specs don't specify.

    Budget: €400-600
Intended use: Video encoding (i.e. x264 with handbrake), coding, movies, some gaming (nothing very modern).
Mobility: 15.6" ideally, but weight is not an issue.
    OS: Windows 7 or 8.
Extras: Matte screen, DVD-RW drive, HDMI out, good LAN/wireless card, USB 3.0.

Looking at these two on pc specialist: (sorry about the 1's)

But maybe this one from argos would do, despite the glossy screen.

Would either of these be good options?

Found a few more options. Any opinions would be appreciated. Cheers.

Sorry about the links but I'm new here.

How does this ASUS rate for €500? ht1p://ww1.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00I1BRCLK/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

Or would this Lenovo (much cheaper) from amazon warehouse be decent value for money? ht1p://ww1.amazon.co.uk/Lenovo-G500s-15-6-inch-Laptop-Integrated/dp/B00FSBF7A4/ref=sr_1_33?m=A2OAJ7377F756P&s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1410985899&sr=1-33

And this samsung (also amazon warehouse) claims to have an anti-reflective screen, and seems to include a faster processor than the asus. ht1p://ww1.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-370R5E-15-6-inch-Laptop-Silver/dp/B00AZV26SS/ref=sr_1_3?m=A2OAJ7377F756P&s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=undefined&sr=1-3
