Hit my pillar (I'm a pillock) - Left 3 deep scratches - what can I do?

In my defence, my driveway is narrow and Its a funny angle (as Tyrone says in Snatch).

The problem was, I went to straighten up but forgot I was in 1st gear and shot forwards into the feckin pillar. Luckily enough I stopped before I did any serious damage.

Excuses aside, this is what I'm left with: http://i.imgur.com/uUxqFiV.jpg

    3 deep grooves.

    2010 Audi A6 Ice Silver

Audi garage quoted me €900 today, so eh, nope.

Can anyone recommend what I should do (Dublin based)

    Thanks,
A very annoyed with himself individual.

It's hard to tell how deep it is exactly - are they down to the metal or primer? I'd imagine a quick hit with a decent polisher would minimise it significantly but I'd imagine it'll need a sand and spray. There is zero point in going to Audi for something like this, find a decent crash repair place and get them to quote it.

Thanks a mill for the response.

I'm taking down to a local body shop today.
