    Will the pricings ever get standardised ?

    Currently it's extra to get HD, considering everyone and their grandmother have HD TVs well by now... :|

    Sky make a lot of money from this extra fee, and many people pay it. No change in this pricing on the horizon as far as I can see.

    I suppose, to keep their revenue the same they could just increase the base charge across the board.

    I think they got rid of the HD pack in the UK leaving only Irish customers to pay extra for this?

    In the UK, Sky have not got rid of the HD pack
