    Just curious but does anyone know what this number plate tag means? It is on a Cork registered vehicle if it helps.

    That's a sticker that should go on the right of a French registration plate. 2B refers to the Upper Corsica department and the picture is the coat of arms of Corsica.

    Thank you! I knew it was the coat of arms for somewhere but I couldnt for the life of my remember where!

    Corsica plates are all the rage, the new German plate. Get in there early:D

    Well I guess a sharp eyed gard could pull him for non standard plates...but there again maybe not.

    Out of interest is this an NCT fail simply because they are non standard since I cannot see any other reason. I mean the alpha numeric part of the number plate was otherwise perfectly standard so speed cameras etc could read it I assume

    It has to have IRL and the EU stars where that emblem is. Chances are most Gardai wont care about it, but it wont pass the NCT.
