This is a large sized lamp, best suited for using on the floor rather than a shelf.
If you're looking to use in a small place best to check the dimensions.
You can use the remote that it ships with to control several lamps, including the other smaller models in the range.

I bought a slightly different model a few years ago and actually use it most days. I wouldn't pay full price for one but when on offer I think they are worth it.

bought this one (8w vs 10w on the one above) when it was going for £30.

most useful when you're watching tv and don't want a normal colour light.

    use it a good bit.

I got one for Christmas and I've used it around 4 times in total, it gives me a headache for some reason. I wouldn't be a big fan.

These have always looked completely and utterly pointless to me. It's something I'd buy for my bedroom if I were still a teenager, that's about it.

I've used mine literally every day since I got it 2 years ago.
With light colored walls it gives a nice soft light around the room. I keep mine on a peach colour, hard to get a good picture of it.

I bought these at £11.99 and each has a remote control all 4 so and there are so many color variations and dimmers.
