I'm not sure if there is a dedicated thread for this kind of thing, so mods, feel free to move.

This morning (Sunday 14th Sept) at approx 10.15am my husband witnessed a driver deliberately attempt to run a cyclist off the road at the Donnybrook Bus Depot.

As they approached, the driver passed the cyclist very closely. Cyclist took umbrage and may have had words with the driver at the traffic lights. As they took off driver deliberately drove in such a way as to force cyclist off the road an onto the foothpath.

Unfortunately my husband did not take the licence plate of the driver nor stop to speak to the cyclist but on the off chance that he might be a member on here or someone on here might know him, my husband would be willing to give a statement to the Guards if the cyclist wishes to pursue a complaint.

Something very similar happened to me. I got the reg. Reported it. The Garda said it was a serious matter but 1 year later they have not taken an official statement from me. The appointed Garda phoned once but I was on holidays. Since then no more calls. The appointed Garda won't return messages (3 atempts made). In contacting the station I found out my pH no was changed on Pulse and is no longer the number I gave when reporting the incident. Don't understand the reason for changing it.

Any ideas what I should do now?

It's just possible there was CCTV somewhere close if you give them time and date.
