I was wondering would anyone be aware of whether you can choose where to pick up your JSA allowance,or are you forced to collect from your local post office when making a new claim?
    Any information appreciated,thanks.

Usually it is the post office nearest your home address.

Like when you are making your claim the first time can you set it up to claim it any other way than your local post office,or is the local post office a must ?

You can collect it at another post office.
