Reclaimed or new parquet?

    Hi all,
I'm wondering if anyone has any opinions on which parquet floor I should go for? I have prices for a reclaimed teak parquet floor @€;45 sq metre and a new oak parquet @ €57. (On sale) Both floors need to be sanded and oiled. Reclaimed one is cleaned on the bottoms and sides. Are the older ones better quality or should I pay that bit extra for a new one? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks

The reclaimed parquet should be absolutely ok - whether new or old it is the laying of parquet that is more critical.
I suggest you go & see in person an example of the work of your chosen fitter.
There's no going back with a parquet floor!
