What are esb currently quoting for one off domestic connections?
I know they require a full application to be made with site maps etc before they will provide the official quote but anyone have recent experience.

It depends on whether you need 12kVA or 16kVA. 12 is €1851 and 16 is around €2500. It's all in their website.

I ask because the figures Id seen and those you quote are significantly cheaper than what Ive known for typical rural connections.
When times were busy, the standard fee quoted used to €2300 for the basic connection.

I paid €1851 for the 12kVA connection 6 months ago anyway. I think that cost covers you for up to 3 ESB poles. More than that are extra then.
