    hows it going lads?

is it normal for the water level in the expansion tank for the central heating to go down over a period of time (a week or thereabouts) or would the level dropping indicate a possible leak?

    thanks

Depends on the level in the tank. If it was a really warm week, the attic would be extremely warm and the water would slowly evaporate. Is the ballcock dripping at all?
