Had an interview about ten days ago for a job. Was told I would hear by Thursday just gone. Shall I forget about it?

Sorry to hear they haven't gotten back to you yet. It's hard when you pay the travelling costs and not to mention the opportunity cost of preparing for the interview and they leave you in limbo. It is disrespectful on a business and personal level but unfortunately it happens quite frequently

It's really hard to say why they havent gotten back to you because only you know how well the interview went. They could genuinely be busy. I would carry on applying for more jobs and if they never contact again you were probably better off. If they don't have the decency to send you a rejection letter after all your trouble then Id hate to imagine what they are like to work with

As rude as it theen most likely it is gone, had an interview recently got no reply, emailed twice to say was there an outcome, not even a reply to that, good riddance,

Unfortunately it does seem to be a trend about not replying back after the interview state. On the other hand, hopefully for the OP it indicates movement to the secondary stage of candidates as if it was a negative response (ie not being progressed) then the interviewers would have informed the OP before now?
