What is the limit I can order goods for online without having to pay import duty?

$400 before GST and fees kick in. Import duty varies depending on what it is you are importing iirc

    try this site: http://www.whatsmyduty.org.nz/whats-my-duty

for example if something costs $401 inc freight you'll pay roughly an extra $107, even thought GST would only be $60.15. $40.77 plus GST is the min cutoms fee I think
