new sony tv

    I thinking about getting a Sony Sony 50W705BBU 50 Inch Full HDTV and want to find out if the Irish version of the tv has a freesat tuner aswell as a saorview tuner. Looking on some websites it said it has but I want to be sure.

    It has a FTA satellite tuner not a Freesat tuner. Only Panasonic and Samsung do Freesat TVs - http://www.freesat.co.uk/get-freesat/recommended/freesat-hd-tvs

    You will only get a Now/Next EPG. A minor inconvenience in my opinion as I only use the satellite tuner on the TV if no tuners are available on the satellite stb.

    Would like a full guide on the fta channels but once I can get the bbc/itv/channel 4 channels in hd I don't mind to much
