my lad wants to get a mountain style bike....have a budget of between 200-250 eur... i don't have much knowledge of whats good, bad or indifferent so would like some recommendations from the knowledgable folk on here there are options in halfords but some reviews are not great...dont want to pick something up and it give…

he said he would buy used as long as it wasnt too bad which gives flexibilty to pick up something of better quality for the budget, so any links to ads send them my way

You should have put this in the main forum, Lex, rather than the Adverts. Might get a response or two then.
