    Lads/lassies,

Seriously looking at getting a disc mower for the silage, hay and for a bit of topping. Was looking at an krone easy cut with centre pivot frame. Looks good and seems like it ll do the job for me.

Anyone have one and how do you find them. Been while since we one and that was smaller.

Friend of mine has one for a good few years now, never gave any trouble, and swears by it.. I got myself a malone procut this year, very happy with it. Same reason as you, used for silage, hay and topping.. great buy imo

Had a mounted one and it broke our hearts

It's a mounted 1 I'd be looking at wouldn't have the acerage to justify a trailer one. Will also be used for topping.

What issues did you have with the mounted one?

I,ve a mounted version and have no problems with it, have it about 8yrs now. Just keep it clean and store indoors and will last for years to come.

On our second Mounted Krone 10' here noco. Earlier model wasn't great as headstock was too light for a 10'. New model is far superior with a hanging point 1/3 way out over cutting bed.

It's set up is far better as it follows contours l the same as a trailed. One big difference between mounted and trailed is the quality of the mowing. Really easy to readjust for lodged grass.

There is a system in the bed that if you strike a stone. It breaks a roll pin and stoops rotor. Instead of making shyte of bed it rises out of the way. Screw back down new pin and bang away. Blade changing is a doddle.

Very easy take off hats if you roll wire as I did last week. Not heavy to carry on tractor. Can mow at 16 km/hr. have had others but none compare to these new ones. Shaft driven so no loss of power to the bed

Yes Muck I was showing the bed carrier and the cut. I'm don't think I have a pic of mower as usually steering!

What is the biggest mounted mower conditioner people would recommend for 110HP 4WD ( TS110)
Want it for topping also. Have a 6.5' Krone at moment

8ft, ran a 10ft potty on a ts100 for a season and wouldn't overly recommend it... Hard on the lifts and back end was to light for lifting it, hit the spool on the headland and it was 50-50 wether mower would lift first or offside tractor wheel,
