can anyone recommend a few apartment complexes for private rental in vilamoura?
had a quick scan on holiday lettings and the first few were all fairly far out near golf courses.
we won't have a car and don't play golf
2 adults 2 children 13 and 4 so looking for 2 bed apt in nice central quiet complex .if anyone has stayed somewhere they could recommend ?

Moura Praia complex is very close to beach and marina, no car needed.

I probably should add that our budget is 5\600 a week

The Old Village, it is about 20 minute walk to the marina and 30 minute walk to the beach. There is a tourist train that passes the Old Village and brings you to the beach and marina. A taxi back costs about €4. The Old Village is a lovely quaint spot with 3 pools, a few restaurants, a few bars, a supermarket, tourist office, free wifi, and is very clean and safe. Pm me if you need any more info.

I booked this place a few hours ago.

There's not many reviews online for it so I was a bit wary (none on tripadvisor) but it looks lovely and is a very cheap this time of year.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread.
Did you go to Vilamoura in the end OP? Where did you stay ad how did you get on?
Considering this at the moment; myself, wife and 20 month old going in May.
WE have decided an apartment is best bet, but hard to pick without any real knowledge. the more I read reviews the more confused I get.

Anybody with experience of Mouraliz Apartamentos?
