Have just noticed in the last few days that there are no seagulls around Westbrook or Moylaragh. We left a few slices of bread in the garden that usually would have been gobbled up in seconds. 2 days now and not a sign of a gull. Where are they ??

I think the breeding season has finished and they have fecked off back to where they came from.

I would expect them back next year again. I'm able to run around the town again the last few weeks without them swooping from all over the place.

Heard today on the radio some senator was putting a bill in motion to have a seagul cull. Was massive problems with them down in howth all summer but tourist thinking chucking the guls a few chips is fun doesnt help the problem

My regulars have cleared off too, just random birds on the prowl.

Why are people feeding them?? You might as well be feeding rats.
