Vitamin B12 Deficiency

Hi All,

Hoping someone can help or offer advice..........

We work in a 1200ft2 open plan office with an Air Con heating/Cooling system. We are on the third floor with no opening windows.

Today a third person in our office has been diagnosed with a severe vitamin B12 deficiency. The doctor has said that this is a 1 in 100 thing and for 3 out of 10 to have it was weird.

We are now worried we have a problem with something in our office. I consulted Dr Google and Carbon Monoxide has come up a bit as a cause.

We also have a unit filters and cools water that is hooked directly to the water in our canteen sink. This is sanitised regularly.

Has anyone had any experience with this or can anyone offer me advise on what we should do next? We will contact the Landlord and management company but because we don't really have anything to show what do we say?

Interesting one!

Our normal line here is "see your GP", but given that this is a company, I think the best line is "speak to an occpuational physician". Google will give you a list.
