Assume the ones to go for are Zelda, MH3U (both of which are different flavours of awesome) or Kirby?

Haven't played Yoshi but reviews suggested it was uninspired stuff, which is very damning for a sequel to SMW2.

Mario Golf is grand, but the novelty wears off very quickly. There are so many online competitions that (if you're playing other games in your free time) you find yourself competing to finish within deadline rather than giving it your best shot because the participant prize is better than the rewards you might reap from placement. And that makes it like a 2nd job that only pays out in matching Luigi trousers and shoes.

Pokemon Art Academy is very niche. It's a tiny niche inside an already pretty small niche. Anyone with an interest surely already has it. At this point Mario Party would need to be an entirely different game to be worth while but I stand to be corrected if anyone's played it...

It's a little disappointing by the standards of previous offers that have had far more current games in them or indispensable classics. Still, better than a smack in the face with a rake. Shame the new 3DSes won't be out over here in time for people to capitalize.

Nice, but I don't think I'll have a new console to register this side of Christmas!
It's a bigger ask than the MK8 one, in that instance you only had to buy the game and register it to qualify for a free download, now you have to get the hardware and the appropriate software in order to qualify :(
Mario Golf is the only one I'd want there, the other might have been Zelda but I want a physical copy of that, so the man can't decide what console I get to play it on!

But the new 3DS isn't out by then :(
Got a cheap copy of Zelda (someone didn't want the copy that came with their 3DS cos it was digital, so I swapped them codes for the two Oracles for it :D ) but haven't played that much yet. Heard Mario Party was crap so that'd be out of the running anyway.

    Poor selection of games imho.

A few too many hoops to jump through for me unfortunately. Even so, I'd still end up picking up the physical copy at some stage anyway.

    Poor selection of games imho.

    Kirby Triple Deluxe is gorgeous
Perhaps not the greatest challenge you'll ever face but it's use of 3D is incredible.
It's well worth picking up, I would but I already have it in physical form, and I'm not buying another 3DS!

Claim and donate Zelda code to Cormac maybe, my fiancé is on the last battle with Gannon in the WW-HD and she would literally lose her $hit to play ALBW?

Doctor John Zoidberg, a penniless lobster doctor, friend of Philip J Fry, lives in a dumpster adjacent to the office of Planet Express in New New York.:pac:

For a while it was actually better than the Simpsons since it's launch coincided with the Simpsons slippery slope to what it is no :o

Was hoping to get Kirby from this promotion but you can only register 1 3DS code and one XL code on club nintendo if I'm right? And I dont have a 2DS. Anyone know where to pick up a cheap Kirby Triple Deluxe?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,485 ✭✭✭✭Banjo

No, but if you have an imaginary child or ward with an email address that you have access to, they could register the game and the console, and you could use the download code on your account - because you're a responsible parent to that imaginary child, right?

If you registered the game to your account first, you are boned unless you can find someone to swap codes with. (your XL for their 2DS for example)

Kirby is great by the way.

Works if you have a split personality too, I've got three so far and that's just the ones I listen to. Kirby really is great btw.

I wish I had but I don't :( The search for a cheaper copy continues

Can this be had if Pokemans is bought digitally?

Should be able to, so long as your 3DS is connected with your club nintendo account

you may have to take the online survey (nintendo.co.uk - Club Nintendo - my account - member Login - my account again - my last registered product - claim stars for this download) in order to have it registered on your account for the purposes of the promotion.

Does anyone have a spare console code lying around? Understandable if nobody wants to pm it to me but just thought I'd ask.

Does anyone have a spare console code to donate? I'd be awful grateful, and I could give some star codes/nintendo points for wii in exchange?
