Especially deadly killer spiders like the ones all over After Hours at the moment.

What kind of a fucked up saddo wirdo collects such things? Same with people who keep snakes and lizards and other quare things. Screwed up loners.

Anyone who collects such creepy crawly things should be banged up for their own and everyone elses safety.

    Get a budgie FFS.

OK, get a bloody cat then.

    Fuckin deranged spider freaks.

People who collect poison spiders are the same as those who salivate over pictures of AK47s, have pitbull wanker dogs to show the world how hard the are, and stand at the edge of playgrounds to drool over young boys playing on the swings.

They should be put away (or down) for the protection of decent society.

I don't get the appeal at all beyond that of having an exotic pet. There's no interaction or personality you'd get with a cat or a dog. Anyone keeping these in insecure environments should be treated as though they were keeping dangerously aggressive dogs.

The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the LORD your God.

Collecting a spider as a pet equals someone to a paedo in your eyes?

A budgie? Sits in it's cage and hops about and that's it?
Least with spiders and snakes and lizards you can see them killing sh1t. That's the joy of it

Here, have some spiders. The sooner spider rain happens here the better

How'd someone manage to get nearly 17k posts on such an obvious troll account?

You can't seriously be that close minded and stupid can you?

Having an exotic pet makes you a paedo would-be terrorist sociopath?

Or they just aren't big girl's blouses afraid of spiders? Spiders are fascinating creatures. Keeping venomous (not poisonous) ones isn't something people should do but harmless ones, why not sure.

    exotic pet

Is that what they call them?

A bit like the way good for nothing boy racers justify their existance by referring to themselves as car enthusiasts.

Exotic pet me arse. Dangerous, useless, poisonous creatures that have no place in this country.

Eh? We've been keeping dogs and cats as domesticated pets in this country for years. Both have a beneficial influence on children.

Poison lethal killer spiders and snakes on the other hand - fuck off with them. They don't belong here.

Sigh. Dangerous, well possibly, dogs can be dangerous.
Useless? hardly, without spiders we'd be hip deep in flies and bugs.
Poisonous? nope, venomous. there's a difference. Unless you're going around ingesting spiders, which would make you an idiot.

Not if they have responsible owners.

Every home needs spiders for that. No problems there. Big difference between the spider in the corner of the room and the the lethal deadly creatures these sad nutters import and keep in jam jars to feed their own morbid satisfaction.

You get bitten by a deadly one and I doubt you'd give a fiddlers fart about the semantics between what is poisonous or venemous.

Funny cos dogs kill far more people than spiders do.
Take Australia, the place is full of deadly animals, people killed by domestic dogs? over 25 in the last decade.
People killed by spiders in the same time? none. Not one recorded spider bite death since 1979. And they have "poisonous" spiders everywhere.

But hey, keep spouting ignorant rubbish.

All spiders are venemous... just most of them are harmless to humans

I have nothing against someone who wants to keep a spider as a pet. They're probably excellent pets in the same way that Fr Jack had his pet Brick.

Some spiders are happy to sit quiet and still for days or even weeks on end waiting for something to happen. Some people want a pet that doesn't require very much work or interaction. Dogs chew sh1t and run away and piss on the carpet. Budgies squawk all day long and make an awful mess. Cats deliberately trip you up when you least expect it, turtles stink, fish die if you look at them wrong...

Spiders are the ultimate pet for people who are inherently lazy and easily annoyed by other living things.

Also, you get to freak out about 85% of female house guests who are irrationally fearful of 8 legged creatures

Or is very interested in invertebrates? Very hard to use a pet spider as an attention seeking tool when it's at home in a climate controlled enclosure.

Years ago my four year old son put a preserved spider in a glass case the size of a hand on our kitchen table as my wife and about eight of her friend's were having a few drinks before they headed out on a hen night.
One of them screamed so much she puked .
    Spiders are cool.

I´d rather someone owned a spider than one of those horrible, shrill, demonic cnunt-birds known as budgies. Horrific little things, ought to be exerminated.

Not a fan of spiders myself, but at least they stay in the cage AND don´t make a bloody racket.

A person who keeps killer spiders could be a hired killer.

They might be a huge James Bond fan where that was tried.
