Carphone Warehouse replaced the last one with a brand new phone. After leaving the new one in she got it back with a report that said there were no problems but incoming calls may be affected by third party applications. I find that an unacceptable answer, I can't see how a phone could be mass produced in that state, is this a known issue?

She has already had the SIM card changed too so that's not the problem.
