So i can expect 22% extra lambs from this bottle. Pretty good !!

Anyone have any minerals they swear by for increasing lambs on the ground ?

i've heard of lads mixing a product like this with the b12 drench to boost it further, meant to be a great lift, might go at it this year

Not saying that it wont work... but it states
A trial on Growvite Sheep was carried out by the institute for Rural Studies, University of Wales under the guidance of Dr Selwyn Williams. The trial investigated the effect of dosing ewes with Growvite Sheep pre-tupping and pre-lambing.
    ...
produced a 22% increase in the number of lambs born alive from 143% to 165%

What I read there was "alive"

So maybe using this product pre-lambing is good. But for pre-tupping, I'd be looking for a scan rate comparison.

But maybe I'm too sceptical... ;)

Totally open to correction here, but I thought

    - B12 deficiency was as a result of not enough cobalt - so if you give em cobalt, they in turn can product more B12
    - B12 can only be taken in by the sheep if it is injected, not if dosed

So, does that mean they get 22% lambs dead without the product ?
    :)

If i get 1 extra lamb .. its paid for

the +22% is kinda misleading alright
    you'd expect 122 lambs vs 100
where the trial says you'd get 115 lambs vs 100

That's marketing as according to their figures it'd be an increase of 22 lambs over 100 ewes (lambing percentage) as opposed to 22 more lambs over 100 (percentage increase in number of lambs).
However I think they were right to use the figures of lambs born alive over scanning results as at the end of the year thats what counts not how many you potentially could have had. The thing with these studies is the sample size is normally too small and not over enough years to allow for other factors.
