    Hi,

We're currently working on construction plans with our architect. Happy with the house and design but from an insulation/ventilation/heating system point of view I think we could do with a few hours consultancy. No matter how much research I do now I'm not going to fully understand it so best to spend a few hundred euros now as opposed to spending a fortune and possibly end up with an expensive disappointment regarding heating systems etc. Simply plugging things in to comply doesn't make sense to me.

Would approx half a day with an energy consultant at design stage be enough? How much could we expect to spend? Any recommendations or indeed boards users in this area who could PM me details?
