Jobseekers Allowance incorect amount in accout.

    i got a letter yesterday stating that i had been approved for job seekers allowance it said your first payment will be in your bank account on the 11th of september and every thursday after that. I checked my account today and i had a deposit from social welfare of 60 odd euro not the 188 i had been approved for. it say on the letter that my weekly rate is 188 which will be paid from the 8 of september.

    im wondering is it because its only stating from the 8th that i only got paid 60 something? because its not a full week ?

    will the full 188 be paid next week . what do you think??

    That would be correct the first payment is for 2 days 8th & 9th September. Next week you will get a full week from 10th Sept to 16th Sept.

    how are you getting it into your account, I thought they moved everyone to the post office
