    Hi All

Myself and my partner are in the process of splitting up. we have a 2 year old and i would like if they could stay in the same house we have been renting for 2 years. rent is 600pcm

She dosent work at the moment so she will be applying for One parent family supplement.

Is anyone here in receipt of rent supplement? Im trying to get an indication of how much she will receive in the form of supplement.

    Thanks in advance

700 and a minimum contribution of 30pw from herself so she will get 580 pm

Is the landlord willng to take rent supplement,

And you have your own place

Im sorry can you elaborate on that a little, do you mean she would only have to pay 30 euro per week for a 600-700 euro per month house/apartment?

She will get 580 pm from rent supplement she then contributes 120 pm to make up the rent

Where is she thinking of moving to? Because Rent Allowance rates are different for every county in Ireland.

I'm surprised the landlord is willing to take the rent supplement, after all you have been renting off her/him with no problem.

Unfortunately rents are on the up across the country in some cases landlords can make €200-€400 more renting to professionals
