Great news!! one thing if you can is to have the 119.075/127.5 separate as low level can be very busy, espically in weather like this.

    119.075/127.5, Let's see what I can do.

What's the audio codec/compression like? Was listening back to something there and it sounded fairly lossy/tinny. (This was the low level one though)... Am just wondering, obviously, you need to have low file sizes for archives especially, but for the first week or even couple of days, I wonder would it be possible to use less compression on the audio, and then after say a week, change over to a more compressed archive audio format? That way if we want to grab something we can, before it gets overly compressed?

would this be available on liveatc or do we need something else?

ah right... it's probably up to liveatc what format they accept
does liveatc only accept a certain audio format? it probably does all the compression itself so?
if thats the case then its not worth doing, it's probably something the liveatc people need to do at their end.

i.e. a daily cron job on all their servers to compress all files of type _new that are over 3 days old

dedicated ground, ops and clearance delivery feed for EIDW would be cool.

Im listening EIWT a lot, it can be interesting at times.
Be nice if you could throw in some of the nearby fields as that feed would then cover most of the GA.
    Thanks

    Sure, no problem
I have a dedicated outdoor airband antenna feeding to a Radio Shack Pro-2051 scanner for EINN High level frequencies, and onto a Raspberry Pi. The Pi was replaced today as the original was acting up. I may put up extra feeds in the future, but remember, each bunch of feeds needs a dedicated scanner.

What extra feeds would you like to see?

Thanks a lot. I was just interested in what antenna were you using as Im testing a few antennas myself. Currently have a D777.

EINN is great feed, not sure what else would be around your area.

    Thumbs up:cool:
