It's a long shot, but...

I misplaced one of the bearing shields. It's a steel disc, approx. 27mm OD, 12mm ID and 0.5mm thick. I've considered getting a washer of similar dimensions except the bearing shield has a small depression where the threaded axle spacer sits.

This is the kind of thing that someone wouldn't have just lying around. Maybe you have a defunct pair of Sciroccos, or maybe you misplaced one before and got a few spare. I've emailed Campagnolo and Velotech in the UK but no replies yet.
