Does anyone know where in Ireland to buy a can of dry PTFE spray?

    Similar to

    WD-40 Specialist 44743 250ml Specialist Anti-Friction Dry Lubricant with PTFE: Amazon.co.uk: DIY & Tools

    or

Ballistol Spray PTFE / Teflon Spay 25600 - Contents: 200 ml - lubricants, lubricants and nonstick agents: Amazon.co.uk: Sports & Outdoors

Amazon won't ship aerosols to Ireland.

I need to stop a magazine sticking. The inside surface is too rough and even high quality smooth BBs stick in it. There's no point in applying silicone oil, it'll get on the BBs and then on to the hopup. Which defeats the purpose...

And yes, Ive tried google already, it was no help.

    Any leads gratefully received.

Would amazon deliver it to Parcel Motel?

Dry PTFE spray, lads, it's going inside a midcap magazine. To line the inside walls, where the BBs slide along... or often don't, as is the present problem.

    * without a great deal of documentation, which Amazon are too cheap to do.

Try maplins they had it at christmas when i was in.

This part is not true all International Air Freight providers carry Aerosols, just the sending organisation to the freight operator needs a shipping clerk trained in *dangerous goods for air travel.* (sections 12-15 EASA Dangerous goods on an aircraft)

Yes, Andy I know - and I said so above in the small print. The point is that Amazon won't do it.

Jaaaysus lads, will ya read the bleedin' question properly before jumping in with an answer. I thought it was pretty clear.

    Thanks Brenak47.

IF you're stuck, have it delivered to me OzCam, and I'll see about posting it surface with Royal Fail, or brought back next time a family member is traveling via ferry. If it's the latter, might be a couple of months waiting though.

Try a chandlers. They usually stock "dry lubricant" spray for use on boats.

I got a can of the WD40 Dry PTFE spray in McQuillans of Capel Street today for €11. I hope to treat one mag tomorrow and test it on Sunday. I'll let y'all know how it goes.

McQuillans have the full WD40 Specialist range (yellow caps). Some stuff there I never even heard of.

If anyone has a bike and wants a free can of the wet PTFE chain lube spray, drop me a PM. It appears to be good stuff, but it leaves a waxy finish so it's no good for magazines.
