I registered a new business on Jan 1st 2014 and began trading on Jan 16th 2014. Do I need to make returns on October 31st this year or is it October 2015 as advised by a friend?. Also the some of my income comes from a part time PAYE job (approx. €20k net) is there anything I should be aware of when filing online with ROS…

Your income tax return for 2014 will be due in October 2015. I'd advise you to get an accountant to help you out with your tax return.
