I started now so I might as well go on with this Tour...besides I am hoping Sam Bennett can win this stage if Peloton loses Cavandish & Kittel on climbs.

Its on live ITV4 & Eurosport at 1.15pm

    Wales looked lovely today

Oh yeah...And I thought Carlton Kirby was bad at indentifying ridrs and then I watched Hugh Porter

Kept calling Lopez ,Sir Bradley Wiggins for one

Also said "Roche will be dissappointed if he doesn't get 3rd" ?? So Nico must be delighted then

The Beeb pensioned him off for a reason. He was certainly a good enough commentatoir in his day, but at 74 he really should be let out to grass....

Will the GC boys (i.e. Nico) have a bash at this finish? Time bonuses are very important. Kwiatkowski could be a good bet.

I'd say Kwiatkowski will have a bash. Chavanel too.

anybody know the gradient is for the last km ?

I know its a "cat 2" climb to the finish but im guessing in the tour of britain that means a 2% drag ? Just wondering if any of the GC guys will be able to have a crack at this or if its too easy a finish to beat the sprinters that can drag themselves up the hills.

    I read earlier that it's 800m at 5%

    Sigh sigh ;)
Again didn't judge his efforts...goes too fast too soon

Don't think he would have caught the front two anyways tbh, doesn't have the same raw pace as Kwiatkowski. Still a decent stage for him.

Agree he is not as fast as Kwai but he could have manged his effort better

He does go all out too soon

But I suppose he provides entertainment

Kwiatkowski could be a good bet.

I should have thrown a few quid on him. Although his odds were probably not great.

Have to congratulate the organisers at this Tour if Britan. The last few stages have made for fantastic racing.

    He was the 4/1 favorite.

Yeah another one with a few climbs, but with a descent to the finish. Might be one for our boy Sam. I'm also looking forward to seeing Mullen go in the TT

Nico loses a place because Neuns got a time bonification.

Yeah he definitely is one for the future.

Nico should be able to jump past him, and Zardini, in the ITT.

Izagirre and Wiggo could leapfrog Nico though.
