23 Jump Street

Sony Pictures and Original Film have started forward motion on 23 Jump Street. They’ve set Rodney Rothman to write the script. Rothman was one of the writers who scripted 22 Jump Street for Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill.

So is it going to be set in Medical School like it was teased in the film credits ?

I like both movies, some really funny jokes and Tatum and Hill work well together, I loved how aware of itself the second movie was. Jokes about having a bigger budget "This office looks like something Iron Man would have!" and telling them to do more of the same thing as the previous case were pretty self aware for a Hollywood sequel. Just hope they don't run it into the ground.

I really enjoyed both movies but if Lord and Miller are not involved, I'm not interested.

I'm not sure I want this to be honest. The end of 22 was a good place to leave it I felt.

Still very much a rumour by the sounds of it but under Lord and Miller I could definitely see it working.

It looks like this may actually be happening with Muppets director James Bobin.

Personally I'm optimistic, I think this could be great and I really like what Bobin did with The Muppets.
