Has anybody had a problem with the brakes on a Peugeot 3008 ? Tried replacing the rear break
pads but gave up when I couldn't push the break piston back to accommodate the new break
pads. If the piston is stuck how do I free it ?

Did you use a windback tool..?
Also had you the automatic handbrake disabled..?

I did disable the automatic break and I used a G clamp but no way could I push the piston back. In the past week I was having trouble with the parking brake not releasing manually not sure if there's a connection. Thanks for your reply.

A G-clamp on its own won't work as you need to push back and turn clockwise at the same time.
The auto handbrake maybe giving trouble due an abs related sensor failure....a diagnostic check will give you a good idea where the problem is.

The piston screws back in, it doesn't push like with front brakes. a piston wind back tool is the handiest way to get it back in.
