Nitrogen in september

    Would you get much response of nitrogen at this time of the year with this good spell?? Not sure if be worth it..

    I think you get far better results rather than spreading it in January, february and march. I know the quality might not be in the grass compared to april or may but id say its still 10 times better than silage

    Here's hoping, 35 units going out tomorrow with P&K, grass is still moving. Going to try and see if I can maximize some of this growth.

    if fields are bare enough i'd go with CAN.. if there is a good cover urea be fine i reckon

    What would be the best fertiliser to spread now in hope to have a good flush of grass in jan and feb. Also when would be the latest time to sprea fertiliser for it to work well??

    Put out 40 units N ten days ago never saw such a response, no nitrogen gone out here since end feb,
    Was selling the cull ewes last week but decide to hang on to them to control grass

    40units how many kg is that?

    75kg CAN 27%....about 20kg N,/acre went to ag college a long long time ago, hence the units
