Sky Go - Tablet

    Can anyone recommend a tablet that will let me output skygo to television via HDMI cable.

    I'm pretty sure it won't work, sky have it disabled.

    If your iPad is jail broken it will work.

    Don't have iPad I just want to purchase a cheapish tablet for this.

    Would chromecast work?

    The Chromecast wouldn't really work all that well, since you would have to cast the screen, which isn't great.

    Also I believe you need to have a TV that supports MHL to be able hook your tablet up via HDMI (Though I am not positive).

    Ok the best thing may be just to buy a cheap second hand net book that has with HDMI.

    Why do you want a tablet to stream a TV subscription to your TV? Am I missing something here...?

    I don't have Sky in the house but a friend gave me the details for his sky go which I hope to get running on my TV by tablet or netbook.

    Tell your mate that his log in details are feck all use to you without a device to view on. Tell them you want a tablet too.

    Tell your mate that his log in details are feck all use to you without a device to view on. Tell them you want a tablet too.

    I have a device to view it on I just want something handy to connect it to tv with without having to use laptop.
