Finishing FAS course - Jobseekers?

Hi guys, this is a three- fold question.

First part. I'm due to finish up a 15wk FAS course at the end of September. Will I need to go visit my local welfare office to sign back on or does it happen automatically? If I do need to go back in, will I have to make an appointment then wait, as when first signing on or is it more straight forward this time?

Second part. I am 6 months pregnant, but unemployed. Is it the normal JSB/JSA I should be on or is there something else? In a few weeks I'd be on maternity leave if I was working and I know JSB is for people who are able to work - I assume I can't claim JSA/JSB while not actually available for work due to pregnancy?

And thirdly - before we found out I was pregnant, my husband and I booked a short holiday, luckily this falls 10 days after the end of the course and just within my safe to fly limits. It might however effect my ability to attend any interview with the welfare office if they want to see me during that time. Money is tight and holiday is paid for in full from when I was working so I'd really rather not waste it. Do you think this is reasonable or will it effect any claim I might have.

    Thanks.

Go and see your community welfare officer in your local health centre. He/she will advise you and probably grant you Supplementary Welfare and authorise your 10 day holiday.
