    Hi guys,

I'm looking for some advice about how to clean up an old fireplace. As you can see in the picture it's very dull and drab- I'd love to bring it back to life a little but no idea what to use to polish it up!

    Any suggestions?

Get some fine wet & dry sandpaper around 800 grit use it wet to lightly sand the raised areas around the front it will bring them up to a shine then spray wd40 on black areas of front and rub in well it will give it a nice finish with this don't light fire when wd40 is wet and when fire is lit it might smoke slightly for a minute but nothing to worry about
